Testing!
This is me, trying to test out the Tumblr app settings on Facebook, because my old standby recently stopped working. Oh, bother.

Made by Love Your Bling!
This is a thing I used to do on Blogger, and I quite liked it. I look around on Etsy for cat-themed crafty pieces that I really like and share them with the people who read my blog. Because if you’re following a blog called “Queen of the Cat People” you probably like kitties.
That’s really my only motivation. I think people on Etsy should promote each other more, especially *off* Etsy, because it’s just so crazy and saturated there. And Etsy doesn’t do much to promote its own people, tho it is nice enough to have that kind of platform for putting your gear up for sale.
Enjoy the Cat Share!
This adorable necklace features a wooden pendant of two snuggly sea lions. It hangs from a length of turquoise chips and brown lava beads, like volcanic rocks on the seashore. The findings are all sterling, including a toggle clasp. The necklace is 21 inches long.

So cute :-D One of my faves.
Dark Roses, new & improved on Etsy!
This dark pendant is made of stamped polymer clay, finished with a metallic gold glaze. The drop is a large obsidian rose bead. Recently this pendant ‘rose’ in status, and now hangs from a chain of black onyx and deep red Czech crystal.
The beaded chain is lariat length at 25.5 inches, and the pendant is 2.5 inches long.
Sometimes, good little pendants get upgrades ;-) This was the necklace originally, just the pendant on a plain chain.

Another elegant black swan pendant! This time, matched with glossy black onyx, some smooth and some faceted. Plus Czech crystal in shades of blue and green.
The beaded chain was made by hand in a lariat style, and is 24.5 inches long without a clasp. The pendant is two inches long including the crystal drop.

Yay, I luv these pendants :-) Unfortunately, I’m starting to run out and they are hard to find. Go for it while they’re still here!
I really should have plugged my shop harder with Mother’s Day coming up. Oh well. I don’t consider myself much of a salesman, despite months of improv comedy training. Better luck next year!
September, available here on Etsy!
A carved aventurine rose hangs from a dainty chain of Czech crystals in many shades of green, complimented by bronze colored leaves of pressed glass :-)

Springtime is a good time to update with fall themed items, right? Hmm…
Lavender Swan, now available here on Etsy!
A black cinnabar swan pendant hangs from a chain of black and silvery light lavender. Matte onyx contrast with Czech crystal beads and silver colored findings.
Lariat length, the chain is 25.5 inches long with no clasp, and the pendant hangs down 2 inches.

Amazing amounts of new stuff this week! The upside to being sick is I finally have time to edit and upload photos to Etsy.
Sepia Curio, new on Etsy! Chocolate and caramel crystals, onyx beads, fine resin pendant, chain beaded by hand. Victoriana inspired.
I have a second pendant like this in stock if anyone’s in the mood for a different variation ;-)
Mabon Magic (no. 101) Available here on Etsy!
An old favorite. People drool over it at shows all the time, but nobody’s purchased it yet. But I definitely want to play more with malachite and copper. They look awesome together.
Mabon is one of the Neo-Pagan festivals, on the Autumnal Equinox celebrating the harvest.
Wow. I need to make more ribbon necklaces. I meant to, but didn’t, and now they are starting to sell out. Wow. I’m so glad people like them!
And based on what I’ve noticed from the customers that I don’t know personally, and that most of my customers I already know personally, I get more business from posting photos on my Livejournal than from sinking $$ into Project Wonderful. Lol. Most small time indie artisans like me get most of their business through friends and friends-of-friends :-)
So last week November finds a new home:

And this week, Casimira follows suit:

That’s actually really funny if you’ve read Palimpsest. Especially because I think they may meet again at WisCon this year, lol.
And the new necklace with the amethyst flower is leaving my workshop after less than a week on Etsy! Yay! Happy Spring, gothy peeps!
I have put a moratorium on buying new materials for a while (except for NYWBS, but I’m putting a strict limit on myself there). Luckily, I picked up a ton of ribbon for jewelry work months ago and haven’t used it yet. Whups. No worries there.
